Wear-Liner Tips
Hammer wear liners are available for many bolt-on-style hammers, which pair with a socketed tip for improved tip retention, reduced bolt shear stress, and extended hammer life. Made from wear-resistant material, these replaceable liners help protect the hammer and maintain a secure mounting surface for the tips.
Unlike standard hammers, worn or damaged mount faces can be repaired with simple cutting and welding rather than replacing the entire hammer. The inset socket design adds a perimeter frame around the tip to help maintain proper alignment and improve the shear strength of the tip-to-hammer connection. This design can also help reduce uneven contact caused by high spots on non-machined tip surfaces.
